Metal Free Restorations
Tooth colored materials, such as Targis/Vectris
and Belle Glass restorations, are an excellent choice for our
health conscious patients. These restorations are free of metal
(mercury) and actually bond to the remaining tooth structure.
This strengthens the tooth while beautifully matching the surrounding
teeth. These restorations are excellent for the replacement of
old, black mercury amalgam fillings. They restore and strengthen
the tooth while still being conservative in tooth removal. Many
times we can use Targis/Vectris or Belle Glass to eliminate the
need for more conventional crowns.
